Multi-tasking is a myth
⛔️ There’s no such thing as “multi-tasking”. In fact the term multitasking is a misnomer. It is really task-switching since our brains can’t actually do more than one thing at a time.
Susan Weinschenk Ph.D., a behavioral psychologist claims that when we task-switch we can lose up to 40% of our productivity.
It takes more time to get tasks completed if you switch between them than if you do them one at a time.
You also make more errors when you switch than if you do one task at a time.
